Bagjump in Action: Installations and Inspections

As August rolls on and summer begins to wind down, the Bagjump team has been busy making sure our clients’ airbags are in top shape.

This month, our Bagjump installations team tackled several projects across the globe. From the standard routine maintenance that keeps our airbags at the highest standards to a few new installations on trampoline parks of Europe and the USA.

Our mission remains the same: to provide safety for athletes and enthusiasts alike. Here’s a detailed look at some of our installations and inspections in August.

UpDown Trampoline Park – Hattiesburg, MS, USA

Maintenance and Facelift

At UpDown Trampoline Park in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, we took on a crucial maintenance job. We focused on giving two of their standalone airbags a much-needed refresh. These bags have been in action for a while, and it was time to make sure they keep performing at their best.

The job was straightforward. We replaced 30 pillars in each airbag. These pillars are key to keeping the bags strong and reliable. We also swapped out the top sheet to ensure the bags stay durable and safe for users.

To finish, we adjusted the pressure in both airbags. This step is important after any maintenance because it improves how the bags perform, ensuring they provide the right support and cushioning. With these updates, we’ve extended the life of these airbags, so visitors to UpDown Trampoline Park can keep enjoying them for years to come.

Inspection at Play in Business – La Fonderie Pont-Audeme, France

Airbag Inspection and Repairs

In Pont-Audeme, France, our team handled an important inspection and repair at the Play in Business trampoline park. This park usually takes care of its own setups, but their main airbag had seen better days and needed some expert attention.

During our inspection, we took a close look to see what needed fixing. The main standalone airbag had suffered significant damage, and our team needed to stitch it up to get it back in shape. The bag had been heavily used, and without regular maintenance, small issues had turned into bigger problems.

We managed to make the airbag safe and ready for use again, but there’s still more work to do. We plan to return in the coming months to replace some of the air pillars, make pressure adjustments, and handle a few other small repairs. Our team is always ready to travel wherever needed to provide top-notch service and keep these airbags in the best condition possible.

Spooky Nook Sports – East Petersburg, PA, USA

Airpit Installation for Gymnastics

At Spooky Nook Sports in East Petersburg, Pennsylvania, we began an airpit inground airbag installation designed specifically for gymnastics. Installing gymnastic airbags in a confined space like this comes with its own set of challenges.

One option is to use an internal blower, which would go under the bag. This method would require adjusting the height of the installation, but it’s often the best choice when there’s enough space beneath the bag. The other option is to use an external blower, which would require creating openings in the wall for the blower’s ducts.

Unfortunately, the existing wall structure made it tricky to move forward right away. The client needs to either remove a wall or create a new opening to make room for the external blower. We’ll need to return once these preparations are done to complete the installation.

Inspection and Spare Parts at Jumpzone X – St. Pölten, AT

Routine Maintenance and Spare Parts Replacement

In St. Pölten, Austria, we carried out a routine inspection and spare parts replacement at Jumpzone X. This trampoline park uses an airpit, and it’s important to keep it in top condition for regular use.

We replaced the top sheet and the skirt of the airbag, which are parts that naturally wear down over time. These components are essential for keeping the bag durable and safe. We also conducted a full inspection to check the overall condition of the airbag. We documented everything to help guide future maintenance and make sure the bag continues to meet our high standards.

As our team traveled around the globe in August, our focus remained on ensuring every Bagjump installation and maintenance project meets the highest standards of safety and performance. Whether it’s a slow month or one packed with projects, we’re committed to providing the best service possible.

Looking ahead, we’re ready to take on whatever challenges come our way, making sure Bagjump continues to lead the way in safety and excitement for extreme sports and recreation.
