Bagjump Installations for November
New openings, upgrades, and airbag improvements. This was November at Bagjump.
November was another busy month for Bagjump, and our team, as always, traveled across the world helping our clients with their airbag needs and installing some of our latest products.
This month, we traveled all over the USA and Europe and dealt with several challenges that proved how easily we can adapt to our clients. Here is a closer look at some of what we accomplished last month.
Custom-Made Airpit for Oak Hill Tumbling, Lincoln, USA
Project: Concrete Airpit with Internal Blower
Type of Facility: Gymnastics Facility
At Oak Hill Tumbling, we installed one of our Bagjump AirPit Ingrounds. This is our most popular product for installations, and in this case, the client wanted an L-shaped design that specifically fits the facility’s layout.
To address this challenge, we opted for an internal blower and created a custom blower box to house it. This decision demonstrates our ability to easily adapt to the client’s needs and come up with a solution that looks aesthetically suitable while maintaining the quality standards we are known for.
No matter if it’s an unconventional design or specific blower requirements, we are ready for it.
Testing Pressure Alarms at EliPlay HiFly, Gelsenkirchen, Germany
Project: Pressure Alarms for 6 Airbags
Type of Facility: Trampoline Park
We are very excited about this project. EliPlay HiFly is a brand-new trampoline park in Germany that features six different Bagjump airbags. We have been working on this project for the past few months, and we can tell you that it is going to be an attraction to keep an eye on.
What did we install? Besides the standard trampoline attraction, you can expect to see a ninja course, trapeze, and battle beam.
However, this was not the reason we traveled back to Gelsenkirchen. Our goal was to test and set up our new Pressure Alarms Gen 2. This is the latest product in the Bagjump family, and we were super excited to try it out in this new facility.
Foam Pit Replacement at Gymnastics Dream, Livonia, Michigan
Project: Elevated Airpit on a Trampoline Bed
Type of Facility: Gymnastics Facility
For Gymnastics Dream in the USA, we were tasked with installing a customized Bagjump AirPit to replace an old foam pit. This is a request we are seeing more and more often, as foam pits are losing popularity among facilities.
However, for this installation, a unique challenge tested our knowledge. The facility often deals with heavy rains, which cause flooding in the inground pit area. To combat this, we decided to elevate the airbag by installing it a few centimeters above the ground using a trampoline bed. This ensures that the Bagjump Airbag stays dry at all times and provides a consistently better user experience.
This shows how we not only adapt to design and logistical challenges but also to the environmental challenges some facilities face.
Seamless Installation at EuroTramp, Hamburg, Germany
Project: Airpit Installation with Wall Adapters
Type of Facility: Trampoline Park
In Hamburg, we collaborated with the trampoline park EuroTramp to install one of our Bagjump AirPit Ingrounds. Before the final installation, our team ensured that all wall adapters were in place so the installation this month went as smoothly as possible.
Once we were on-site, we carefully set up the airbag and adjusted the pressure to ensure optimal performance. Finally, we trained the team at EuroTramp on the proper use and maintenance of the airbag. A great success!
Inspection and Maintenance at LEDAP Arenal Mechelen, Belgium
Project: Inspection and Part Replacements
Type of Facility: Trampoline Park
In mid-November, we visited the team at LEDAP Arenal Mechelen in Belgium. They wanted us to conduct a routine inspection of one of their existing Bagjump airbags.
This is a very standard task for us, and we were able to address everything in no time. We swapped out the wall adapters, top sheet, side skirts, and air pillars, essentially restoring the airbag to like-new condition.
Additionally, we conducted a training session with the park staff to refresh their knowledge of airbag handling and maintenance.
Collaboration with Absolute Sports – You Jump, Petite-Forêt, France
Project: Airbag Replacement and Training
Type of Facility: Trampoline Area
As one of our largest partners in France, You Jump continues to rely on Bagjump for the airbags in their trampoline parks.
In Petite-Forêt, we replaced an older airbag from a competitor with a new Bagjump AirPit. On top of that, we provided their staff with a training session that taught them how to handle installations independently. For a company with over 50 parks across one country, it is crucial that they can manage any minor issues themselves.
Repair and Inspection at Cosmic Park, France
Project: Cut Repair and Maintenance Training
Type of Facility: Trampoline Park
In France, at Cosmic Park, our team addressed multiple needs. First, we repaired a cut on one of the airbags and replaced its side skirt. Additionally, we conducted a staff training session focused on enhancing the safe use of airbags.
It was quite an easy task, which our team was ready to tackle in no time.
Installation at Channel Partners Capital LLC, Freedom in Motion, California
Project: Customized AirPit for Parkour Facility
Type of Facility: Parkour Studio
At the end of the month, we installed an AirPit at Freedom in Motion, a parkour studio in California. During the installation, we encountered a safety regulation requiring the blower’s position to be adjusted. This meant making on-site modifications, including precise cuts and heat welding, to ensure the airbag’s compliance with these regulations without compromising performance.
No matter if we are tackling environmental challenges facilities face or we are integrating our new products like the Pressure Alarm Gen 2, Bagjump continues to set the standard for airbag innovation.
Now, which one was your favorite installation from all of these? Have you already tested one of our airbags at any of these locations? Stay tuned as we bring more exciting updates and projects in the months to come!
