Best Installations of the Year

From complete adventure parks to airbags custom-made for extreme thrills, 2024 was an incredible year for Bagjump.

This year has truly been a blast. We worked on installations and inspections all over the world, with our team putting in tremendous effort to bring exciting projects to life. While we can’t count the exact number of installations and inspections completed, we can certainly highlight some of our favorite moments from 2024.

Let’s take a look at some of our standout installations and what made them so special.

Jump & Slide Park – Oberwiesenthal, Germany

Type of Park: Jump & Slide
Airbags Installed: Allround Airbag, Standalone Airpit, Tubing Landing Bag

We had to start with a big one. Oberwiesenthal was one of several Jump & Slide installations from Bagjump. With the Jump & Slide, we marked the beginning of a new era for us. This was our most innovative product of 2024, designed not only to transform winter resorts into year-round destinations but also to provide a low-risk venture opportunity for those looking to start something new.

For the Oberwiesenthal project, we went all in. We installed an Allround Airbag, a Standalone Airpit, and a Tubing Landing Bag. However, this is just one of the countless customizable options a park can choose from. The Jump & Slide Park is set to be a game changer in 2025, so expect to see many more popping up worldwide.

Foldvik Familiepark – Norway

Type of Park: Attraction Park
Airbags Installed: Standalone Airpit

Nestled in the beautiful and quiet landscapes of Norway, this installation took inspiration from local traditions. Foldvik Familiepark approached us with the idea of designing a custom airbag with a unique twist—the jumping tower would resemble a traditional Norwegian house.

We absolutely loved this concept, and our team created something that offered a one-of-a-kind free-fall experience. We’ve never seen anything like this before, and that’s exactly what made it so special. Creativity at its best!

EliPlay HiFi Trampoline Park – Gelsenkirchen, Germany

Type of Park: Trampoline Park
Airbags Installed: Six Inground Airpits

Being part of a new park opening is always special, and in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, we had the opportunity to provide six inground airpits for a state-of-the-art trampoline park. But that’s not all—the park also requested the implementation of our newest Pressure Alarm Gen 2, connecting all airbags to a single control device.

This was the first time we implemented this technology, and it was amazing to see our newest product in action. This trampoline park is now one of the coolest in Germany, ready to deliver an unforgettable experience to its visitors.

Trampoline Zone – Bend, Oregon, USA

Type of Park: Trampoline Park
Airbags Installed: Airpit

Customization was the name of the game at Trampoline Zone in Bend. Our team worked to create a fun and engaging environment for visitors of all ages. The park opted for a unique top-sheet design featuring a shark motif that became the centerpiece of their ninja course.

The result? A visually striking airbag that catches everyone’s attention. Don’t worry, though—the shark may look real, but it’s completely harmless!

Horseshoe – Ontario, Canada

Type of Park: Freestyle Snowsports Training Facility
Airbags Installed: Two Olympic-Size Jumps

Located near Toronto, Horseshoe is Canada’s first permanent Olympic-size summer training facility for freestyle snowsports. This was one of our largest and most complex projects of the year. We replaced a traditional water ramp setup with two massive jumps designed to accommodate athletes of all skill levels.

This installation stands out due to its uniqueness and scale, and we’re incredibly proud to have been part of such a groundbreaking project. We can’t wait to see professional athletes training here!

Shuttleberg Adventure Park – Flachau, Austria

Type of Park: Adventure Park
Airbags Installed: Bike Landing Bag

We love BMX, so we couldn’t leave this one out! Shuttleberg’s summer attraction features a Bike Landing Bag designed for thrill-seeking mountain bikers. With a course that includes two airbags, this installation offers a high-adrenaline yet safer experience.

We’re already looking forward to seeing the videos of professional and amateur athletes enjoying this incredible installation on social media.

Wright Gymnastics Center – Scottsdale, USA

Type of Park: Gymnastics Facility
Airbags Installed: Inground Airpit

Gymnastics and Bagjump go hand in hand, and this installation proves it. At the Wright Gymnastics Center, we replaced the traditional foam cubes with a Bagjump Inground Airpit.

What made this project unique was that we managed to install the airbag without requiring any structural changes to the existing pit. This is a trend we’re seeing more often in gymnastics facilities, and we’re proud to be leading the way.

We can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store. Stay tuned for more adventures!
