MARKETING & COMMUNICATION MANAGER

BAGJUMP Action Sports GmbH is looking for a new team member to support marketing and communication activities at BAGJUMP.

BAGJUMP is a dynamic company which has been producing impact absorbing airbag systems since 2007. We have 3 offices worldwide – Hall in Tirol/Austria, Vienna/Austria and Oceanside/California. Our company focus is designing, manufacturing and distributing airbag systems worldwide for

action sports (snowboard, ski, bike, FMX, etc.), trampoline parks, gymnastics, movie industry, construction safety projects and more. We are very passionate about what we do and being able to successfully change these sports/industries to the better.

  • Planning, development, and implementation of the marketing strategy
  • Creation of customer-oriented product texts for catalogues and brochures
  • Independent planning, coordination, and creation of content for relevant target groups and channels
  • Development of a strategic international PR & press concept
  • Planning, implementation, and documentation of online advertisements and PR campaigns
  • Further development of the social media strategy, increase of brand awareness and development of new target groups
  • Observation of social media channels and their activities, creation of evaluations and management of profiles
  • Organization and implementation of international trade show projects
  • Maintenance and further development of the website
  • Creation of newsletter campaigns

Starting time for this position would be as soon as possible. The base salary would be min. 36.400 EUR gross per year. Overpay possible depending on qualification.

Which skills do you need to have?

  • Finished studies in communication or marketing
  • At minimum three years of experience in communication, PR, media environment and/or social media channel development
  • Excellent written language in English. Preferably native.
  • Eager to learn and understand markets and skilled at writing market specific text in English.
  • Experience in the conception of digital campaigns and content
    • Skilled at written market specific text in English
    • Experience with WordPress (optional)
    • Experience with the use of social media management platforms, analysis tools, as well as the management of data and dashboards as a decision basis for optimization measures (optional).

Depending on skill set and experience some of the above tasks will be done in-house or outsourced. We are in general looking for a well-rounded individual who is enthusiastic about learning new things, the sports industry in general and has a good understanding of PR work, writing text and conception of marketing strategies. Certain technical skills can be outsourced or learned if not present.
