Innsbruck Kicks Off the Month with the Innsbruckathlon

Innsbruck Kicks Off the Month with the Innsbruckathlon

The month starts at home. On July 3 and 4, we will be in Innsbruck for the Innsbruckathlon, one of the biggest obstacle race events in the region. As part of the side activations of the race, we will set up a public Freedrop in the city, open for everyone to try.

This is one of those events we always look forward to. Innsbruck is where Bagjump started, and seeing our airbags in the middle of our hometown, with locals and visitors jumping for the first time, never gets old. If you are in Innsbruck during that weekend, stop by and give it a go.

Donauinselfest Returns to Vienna

From July 3 to 5, the biggest free open air festival in Europe takes over Vienna once again. The Donauinselfest brings around three million visitors over three days, and Bagjump is back as part of the experience.

This year we will install multiple Bagjump setups across the festival grounds, including our popular Bajgump Jump Tower. With our airbags spread across the island, festival goers will have several chances to take a break from the music, queue up, and jump.

The Donauinselfest is the kind of event that turns a Bagjump into a small festival within the festival. The energy around our airbags during these three days is something we genuinely look forward to every year.

Crossing the Border for Frauenfeld Festival

From July 9 to 11, we are heading to Switzerland for the Frauenfeld Festival, one of the biggest hip hop festivals in Europe. With tens of thousands of attendees from all over the continent, this is a completely new environment for our airbags, and we are excited to see how the crowd reacts.

Frauenfeld is a great example of how Bagjump installations are no longer limited to obstacle races and sports events. Music festivals across Europe are increasingly looking for ways to give attendees something to do between concerts, and a Bagjump installation fits that need perfectly.

If you are heading to Frauenfeld this year, stop by our setup and take a jump between sets.

A Busy Weekend Across Austria on July 11

July 11 will be a busy day for us. Two completely different events are happening at the same time across the country.

In Lower Austria, we will be part of the Landesjugend Feuerwehr Treffen in Küb, a large gathering of youth fire departments from across the region. It is a community event with thousands of young attendees, and our airbag will be one of the main attractions for the day.

At the same time, in Styria, the Tag der offenen Tür at the Kaserne Feldbach will open its doors to the public. As part of the Bundesheer activation, our Bagjump setup will give visitors of all ages the chance to jump and experience what our airbags can do up close.

Flachau Summer Activations in Salzburg

On July 22 and again on July 29, we will be in Flachau, one of the most beautiful summer destinations in Salzburg. These two dates are part of our summer activation in the region, and they are open to anyone visiting the area.

Flachau is mainly known as a winter destination, but its summer scene has been growing fast in recent years. With hiking, biking, and outdoor activities all around, adding a Bagjump to the mix gives families and visitors one more reason to spend a day there.

More Bundesheer Open Days in Salzburg and Lower Austria

The Bundesheer open day calendar continues throughout July. On July 24, the Kaserne St. Johann im Pongau in Salzburg will open its doors, and on July 25 the Kaserne Grossmittel in Lower Austria will do the same.

Both events are open to the public and feature a full program of activities, equipment displays, and family friendly attractions. Our Bagjump setup will be installed at both locations, giving visitors a chance to try something they would never expect to find at an army open day.

Closing the Month at Lakelive Festival in Biel

July ends with another stop in Switzerland. From July 30 until August 8, the Lakelive Festival takes over the shores of Lake Biel for ten full days of music, sport, and culture. With over 40 concerts spread across three stages and a lineup that includes Lenny Kravitz, Macklemore, Amy Macdonald, Nicky Jam, and Shaggy, this is one of the biggest summer festivals in Switzerland.

Our Bagjump setup will be installed throughout the entire run of the festival. Ten days is a long stretch for any event, and it gives a completely different rhythm to our presence. Instead of a weekend rush, Lakelive turns into a slower build where new visitors discover the Bagjump every single day.

Summer 2026 Is in Full Motion

July is the heart of the European summer, and looking at this calendar, it is clear why we love this time of year so much. From hometown events in Innsbruck to the biggest festival in Europe in Vienna, from Bundesheer open days to Swiss music festivals, our Bagjump airbags will be on display almost every single weekend.

This summer we are having events almost every weekend across Austria and Switzerland, and with such a diverse and fun calendar, we are once again showing that for every season of the year, there is always a reason to set up a Bagjump.
