Pulling off a quad backflip is already a huge deal, but doing it on a mountain bike? That’s uncharted territory. Christian faced some epic wipeouts during practice, but he didn’t let that stop him. With the help of one of our landing airbags to soften the landings, he kept pushing until he nailed it.

Following in the footsteps of legends like Jed Mildon, who pulled off the quad flip on a BMX bike in 2015, Christian blazed his own trail. He hauled his custom ramp across the country to Mid America Outdoors, where he made history with the jaw-dropping stunt. We shared this incredible stunt on our social media after finding out about it, and here you can take a look.

We talked to Christian after the jump, and he mentioned that he had been working on this project since November. It all started after his successful triple backflip at Nitro Circus, and he knew that with the right environment, it would be possible.

“I needed a new ramp and some Bagjump airbags to make it happen,” he told us. “Without the airbag technology Bagjump uses, stunts like this wouldn’t be possible,” he concluded.

With the quad flip now a reality, the extreme sports world is buzzing with excitement. What’s on the horizon for Christian Arehart and the daredevils of tomorrow? Who knows? But one thing’s for sure – with Bagjump providing the safety gear for these crazy landings, the sky’s the limit. Christian believes a quintuple backflip is possible, but acknowledges it would require substantial resources.

Keep in mind. Christian Arehart’s quadruple backflip isn’t just a stunt – it’s a game-changer. At his very young age, this daring feat is inspiring a new generation of riders and showing us that anything is possible. So, here’s to Christian and all who push the limits out there. Who knows what crazy stunt they’ll pull off next? One thing’s for sure – we’ll be watching.
